Our process adopted for a typical translation job:
Step 1 : Receive a translation request from the client
Step 2 : The request is analyzed by a Project Manager, who may ask you for more information in terms of purpose of translation, target text’s format, quality, cost, deadline etc.
Step 3 : Once all the required details are clear to the Project Manager, a formal quotation is sent to the client.
Step 4 : You would send a Purchase order mentioning all the specifications, price, payment schedule, deadline etc. Alternatively, a contract can be signed between us.
Step 5: The project manager makes a schedule and choose a linguist or a team of linguists who are best suited for the project for translating, proofreading and desktop publishing. The selection of linguist is based on the skill, experience, expertise, and technical knowledge that the work demands.
Step 6 : The Project Manager keeps in touch with the client as well as the linguists and monitors the whole progress of the project on a daily basis.
Step 7 : The completed project is delivered to the client in the required format by the deadline.
Step 8: The project manager receives all comments from the client and help solve any linguistic problems after the delivery.
